Kelly O’Gorman is an artist and illustrator from Hertfordshire, known for her intricate hand-drawn work inspired by nature, symbolism and the imaginative language of the subconscious. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in 3D Modelling and Animation and a Master’s degree in Digital Practices in Design, and her practice is rooted in traditional drawing and intuitive visual storytelling.
Working primarily in fine black ink, she creates delicate, highly detailed illustrations shaped by organic forms, natural pattern and layered meaning, sometimes complemented with watercolour, acrylic or oil. She is also the creator of a series of colouring books for adults and children which have been featured on television.
Kelly met Mary Tassell while attending a foundation course in herbal medicine at Heartwood Education, where they connected through a shared interest in plants and symbolism. Her work has been exhibited at art fairs and is held in private collections, and continues to invite reflection and personal interpretation.
