A revolutionary and practical model of spiritual enlightenment for the modern era
In this fascinating book, Pierce Salguero presents a unifying model of spiritual awakening that weaves traditional spiritual insights and techniques together with a modern viewpoint. Independent from any particular tradition, it includes them all, encompassing and validating a plethora of diverse spiritual experiences while prioritising flexibility and individuality.
Multidharma argues that in the modern era, traditional spiritual systems are no longer a good fit for everyone. The book presents an alternative model, suggesting that these traditions can be divided into distinct “threads” (Emptiness, Oneness, Energy and Psyche), with each representing a different dimension of spiritual growth and development.
Salguero presents a series of practices that activates these threads, and the spiritual experiences associated with them. He also unpicks the worldviews underpinning them, explaining how modern access to information enables people to experience a full awakening that weaves together these many threads.
The book is a clear, accessible, and empowering guide to spiritual awakening that takes advantage of the vast twenty-first century information landscape, constructing a synthesis out of different traditions that works for unique, individual needs.
Multidharma is essential reading for anyone looking to better understand and re-connect with themselves, and the wider world.
