Starting September 2025 - A year-long course for practitioners and others to learn astrology to use in clinical practice. The aim of the course is show how Astrology can deepen and enrich your practice as a herbalist or other practitioner. It will also equip you with practical skills to use Astrology, both as Temperament and Decumbiture in your practice, and then offer optional continuing supervision to build confidence and technique.
Elisabeth Brooke has been using astrology in her practice for over 40 years and has found it invaluable to understand her clients, choose her remedies and adjust her practice from a symptom based, to a holistic approach to healing body, mind, spirit and emotions.
Elisabeth will outline practice in her book Traditional Western Herbal Medicine
Classes will last 60-90 minutes and there will be time for questions.
The recordings will be available for 3 months after each lesson and thereafter will form part of a standalone course.
Part two of Elisabeth Brooke's 'Astrology and Herbs' course begins February 1st 2026.
This term will cover:
Feb 1st - Decumbiture intro
Feb 15th - Asking the question
March 1st - The practitioner
March 15th - Diagnosis physical, emotional, mental, spiritual
March 29th - Practice: Decumbiture working with examples
April 12th - Practice: Temperament recap and examples.
If you wish to join Part 2 you will need to know planets, signs and houses, aspects, and herbs of the various planets as studied in Part. Elisabeth will be uploading the recordings of Part 1 after the in-person course ends at the end of November.
