Jason Atomic is a writer and artist with a lifelong interest in the occult and pop culture.
His first publication was a punk comic strip called Subterraneans, printed on an art-school photocopier in 1985. Since then, his writing, illustrations, and graphics have featured in a variety of countercultural publications including The Illustrated Ape, Ambit, Alternative London and the UK edition of Nikolas Schreck’s The Manson File.
He crafted the Alexandrian Witchcraft logo for Maxine ‘Witch Queen’ Sanders who also invited him to illustrate the 2024 edition of The Alex Sanders Lectures. His work can be found in the collections of the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic in Boscastle, The Satanic Temple’s Salem Gallery, The Buckland Museum of Witchcraft and Magick, and The Museum of The Final Judgement in Rome.
Since 2013, he has published occult-themed underground comics and zines under the Satanic Mojo banner and is the co-founder of London’s premier dark arts and crafts fair, the Satanic Flea Market, where he can also be found trading second hand comics and books from his collection.
A great lover of animals, when not immersed in counterculture and comix, he volunteers at the Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue and milks goats at the Oxford City Farm.
